How long have you worked at Hannaher’s? 43 years

Describe what you do in your role at Hannaher’s: Throughout the years I’ve done just about everything except draw in AutoCAD or CET, haven’t done much accounting either.

What is your favorite thing about your job at Hannaher’s? The inspiring people I get to work with every day. That may sound made up but it’s the truth.

What is the proudest moment you’ve had working at Hannaher’s??  Several moments; Winning as a team and being part of an organization that supports so many great families.

Three words to describe working at Hannaher’s: Fun, Educational, and Energizing

People would be surprised if they knew: I have over 4500 different empty beer cans at our house.

What is your favorite local restaurant? Wild Rice Bar and Grill/TJ’s on Lake Eunice

When are you the happiest? When I am with my family.

What is the first concert you ever attended? Peter Frampton at the Bison Sports Arena in 1977

What is the last book you’ve read? Reading “Okinawa” right now.  It’s about WWII in the pacific where my Dad fought as an 18-20 year old kid.

What do you like to do for fun in your spare time? Any hobbies? Love to pheasant hunt and be at the lake.

Tell us about your family: Married my high school sweetheart, Kay, in 1981.  We’ve been together for 41 years.  Three daughters: Amy (Fargo), Melissa (Devils Lake) and Carrie (Hawley) plus my two hunting buddies, Lucy and Tucker.  Amy is married to Jake Overby and they have two wonderful kids, Kolsen and Eisley, and Melissa is marrying David Remmen in November 2018.

    I was driving down the street in Alexandria, and saw “Hannaher” went around the block and went in. What a
    surprise – If you think back close to a a hundred years – you may remember me! You were running around delivering with Pat Coffe, and the bearded guy……. can’t remember his name. I worked with Julie Torfin in the design area. For Tom and Dan
    Mavis was in the front, it was the Moorhead location. You had long hair and curls. I was at your sisters wedding, Mary.and her son, Peter married Laura Huebner who is one of my daughters best friends. ANYWAY, I work for KIKV-FM, COOL 94.3 here in Alexandria and Hannahers should definitely advertise with us. How exciting to have you in Alex.

    This is from Tom Moore. A voice from the past. Way back in 2003 Hannaher’s installed some Steelcase furniture for my wife, Noel – State Farm Insurance. It was furniture that was purchased through State Farm Insurance and installed by Hannaher’s. Well, Noel will be retiring at the end of August and I was wondering if it would be possible to get a current value for the furniture.
